Restoring Our City Means More than Restoring our Buildings and Roads

Our Cultural Heritage must also be protected. As your mayor, here are some of the steps I will take toward protecting New Orleans’ precious cultural heritage:

- Create a Mayor’s Office of Cultural Arts

- Treat Arts and Culture as economic engine for the city

- Maintain funding for Arts Council

- Create master calendar for all arts and cultural events

- Increase arts programs in public schools
